Hasselblad Focal Plane Shutter Models

The very first Hasselblad 2 1/4 camera used a focal plane shutter (1600F of 1949). My first Hasselblad was a 1955 Hasselblad 1000F. I currently use a pair of 2000FC/M cameras.  I just prefer the focal plane shutter.

There's not a lot on information on the web on the focal plane models so I put this page up for those who might be interested in the specifics of a particular focal plane model model.

Hasselblad has now discontinued all focal plane shutter cameras.

Please let me know if I have made any errors!  Thanks!

Repairs

Most Hasselblad repair shops won't touch the focal plane models.  For the 2000FC on onwards your best bet for service is the Hasselblad service facility in New Jersey or the factory in Sweden.  Please understand that replacement curtains for the 2000FC series (metal) are no longer available.
